The Maine Tin Pedlar Chapter of ATHA (Association of Traditional Hooking Artists) shares a common purpose of promoting the art of rug hooking through education, sharing of ideas and group activities. Our hope is that this blog will further enhance this effort. Check out the Gallery for rugs made by our members. Check the events page for current hook-ins, rug camps and our meeting programs.

If you leave your rug outside for an hour or so first, the snow won’t melt into the rug, and it will dry faster.
